A practical guide to funding your Loryn Creditvale account: which methods are accepted, how quickly money is credited, the amount ranges that apply, how currency conversion works, who bears provider costs and how refunds are handled. The rules for requesting a payout are covered separately in our Withdrawal Policy.
Depending on your region and account type, funding methods can include bank transfer from an account in your own name, debit or credit card payment, electronic payment accounts and wallets, and transfers of supported crypto assets to a deposit address generated for your account.
All deposits must come from an instrument or wallet belonging to the verified account holder. Payments from third parties, cash and cheques are not accepted and are returned. The methods and currencies enabled for you, along with any regional restrictions, are listed in the deposit area of your account.
Crediting depends on how the money reaches us. As a general guide:
Weekends, public holidays, bank cut-off times and additional checks can extend these windows. The status of every deposit is visible in your account history, and the indicative timeframe for each method is published there.
Each method has a minimum deposit amount so that processing costs do not consume small transfers, and may have per-transaction, daily or monthly maximums for security and compliance reasons. These figures differ by method, currency, region, account type and verification level.
Amounts below the minimum may be rejected or returned, less any costs charged by the providers involved. Amounts above a maximum may need to be sent in several transfers or arranged with support in advance. The limits that apply to you are always those published in your account at the time of the transaction.
Your account is held in the base currency or currencies shown in your profile. If you send money in a different currency, it is converted when it is credited, using the rate applied at the time of processing by us or by the provider handling the payment. A conversion spread or margin may be included in that rate and, where applicable, is disclosed before you confirm.
Because rates move, the amount credited can differ slightly from the amount you expected when you initiated the transfer. Sending funds in the same currency as your account avoids conversion entirely. Crypto deposits are credited in the asset received, or converted at the prevailing rate if that asset is not held in your account.
Loryn Creditvale publishes any charges it applies in your account before you confirm a transaction. Charges applied by the parties involved in the payment — your own bank, card issuer, an electronic payment account, an intermediary or correspondent bank, or a blockchain network — are your responsibility and are deducted from the amount sent or charged to you separately.
Where a transfer arrives net of such deductions, only the amount actually received can be credited. For international transfers, selecting the option under which the sender pays all charges helps ensure the full amount reaches your balance.
As a general rule, money leaves your account by the same route it arrived. Amounts funded by card are returned to that card, amounts received from a bank account are sent back to that account, and amounts received from an electronic payment account or wallet are returned to the same instrument, in the name of the account holder.
This rule follows standard anti-money-laundering practice and helps prevent fraud. Where a method has expired, closed or is no longer supported, you may be asked for documentary evidence before an alternative route in your own name can be used. Where a balance was funded from several sources, payouts may be allocated proportionally across those sources.
A refund is the return of an incoming payment rather than a withdrawal of invested value. We refund a deposit where it cannot be credited — for example if it came from a third party, fell outside the accepted limits, was sent in an unsupported currency or asset, was duplicated, or where required checks could not be completed.
Refunds are returned to the original payment source, in the original currency where possible, and less any unrecoverable costs charged by the providers or networks involved. Timing follows the same ranges as the corresponding crediting method, and card refunds appear on the statement of the card originally used. Trading losses and market movements are not refundable, and refunds are never made to a different person or instrument.
Use the exact payment reference shown in your account so your transfer can be matched quickly, and for crypto deposits check the asset, network and address carefully — funds sent on an unsupported network may be unrecoverable. Keep your bank or provider confirmation until the deposit appears in your history.
If a deposit has not appeared within the published timeframe, contact Loryn Creditvale support with the date, amount, currency, method and any reference or transaction identifier so we can trace it. Support can also confirm the current methods, limits, timings and fee schedule that apply to your account.
For payout requests, verification requirements, cancellations and the reasons a request can be delayed, see the Withdrawal Policy.
Indicative overview only — the methods, timings and amount ranges enabled for your account are always the ones published in your account area.
